Nephrology
Nephrology
The Nephrology Department at City Hospital is a well-established unit operating under the direct supervision of experienced consultant nephrologists and a dedicated multidisciplinary team. We are committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to both outpatients and inpatients.
Our specialists diagnose and manage a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and complex renal complications. Supported by advanced pathology and radiology services—including ultrasound-guided kidney biopsies—our team works closely with patients to promote kidney health and improve overall quality of life.
Our hemodialysis unit provides a clean, safe, and hygienic environment equipped with modern dialysis machines (including dedicated machines for Hepatitis C negative and positive patients). Hemodialysis care is delivered by trained nephrology fellowship medical officers, specialized nurses, and technicians operating across multiple shifts. We also offer specialized clinical consultation, catheter placements, and integrated renal transplantation services managed by accredited nephrology and urology specialists.
